I was craving Mexican food and I happen to find this place by accident. It was pretty busy for Monday night, guess fams in town for the holiday. Waited about 25 mins to be sat which was fine. Nice little small restaurant, this place went through so many different restaurants in the past. Staffs were friendly decor was cute and cozy. Menu options looks pretty good and I was happy to see menudo on the menu.. I was craving menudo.. Ordered bean dip as appetizer and It was yummy. The combination of sauce jalapeño and cheese added to it made it nice and flavorful. Only downside was it was little on the expensive side for how much you got. I ordered menudo and wifey ordered combo plate with green corn tamale, taco, and cheese enchiladas. And of course my luck, they ran out of menudo because old couple sitting next to me ordered 3 bowls to go... So I ended up ordering chato burro Xavier way. Which was actually pretty darn good also. Red and green chilli had nice flavoring and enchiladas style made it extra yummy. Green corn tamale was also pretty darn good. Not too sweet, yummy flavor and masa was not too dry. Took a small left over bite of taco and it was also yummy, nice crunchy shell with shredded meat. Salsa was also pretty good. After finishing the bowl heat crawled up on me little.. Would like to try their extra spicy salsa next time. We were given extra chips and salsa for free even though it said it cost extra. Over all the food was pretty darn good. Price seems little high but if you compare to other restaurants it's not too bad. I wouldn't say it was best Mexican food ever but, something about their food was pretty darn good and make me want to come back and try more. I am happy I found this place, this will be my new go to Mexican place to sit down and eat. I am definitely coming back here for menudo next time.. I was told they stop serving it 30 mins before closing..

Another excellent Mexican food restaurant. Try the Gollo burro or the Charo burro Xavier's way . Whole beans with green chili pork. Great stuff. The salsa is unique with cinnamon but tastes excellent. If you haven't tried their chips and salsa, you are missing one of the best tasting and unique salsas in Arizona. You can't taste hints of regular salsa spice (peppers) with a touch of cinnamon somewhere mixed in. Amazing. In addition to the amazing charro and gollo burros, you absolutely should try the full plate carne asada. I have had carne asada at literally dozens of Mexican restaurants, and Xaviers Casa Reynoso is the hands-down best carne asada plate dinner I've ever had. Perfectly grilled flank steak, piping hot to the table, generous portion and perfectly matched with a giant buttered tortilla. This is now my "go to" at Casa, even though they have a lot of other excellent dishes. The refried beans, the rice, the salsa, the wonderful green chili pork are all perfect reasons to hit Xaviers Casa Reynoso. I go there weekly. See you there, my friends!
